Molly Looby is the author of over 20 young adult fiction novels,  most of which include damaged, sarcastic (and often knife-wielding) girls. Her zombie novel ZA was published in 2016 by Molten Publishing.

Her work has been shortlisted for the Sony Young Movellist of the Year competition, judged by Malorie Blackman. Her work has also been shortlisted for the Wicked Young Writers’ Award.

 

She lives in Essex, England and spends HER free time hunkered down at her desk with her imaginary friends. When not talking to the people in her head, she can be found CHASING AFTER HER SON OR WALKING HER BORDER COLLIE.

 

Other Achievements include a 1,000,000+ total November challenge word count, a Shakespeare Award for services to Literature created by her A’ level form tutor, and a Zombie Run medal.
